Education System

The comparison of Education System between Indonesia and Australia.

Education is the foundation for country development. The country's education can improved by it educational system.
As you can see, there are so many development countries have a better education system now. However, it is still interesting to us to compare the education system of both countries.

In this blog, I will try to give you an example of the education comparison between education system in the world. For the example is between my country, Indonesia and Australia.

There are several ways and perspective can be applied in the comparison. To make simple, the comparative analysis is only done based on the difference level education of them. Here are the differences between they education system.

1. Playgroup

The children activities in the Australia, kindergartens (3-5 year old) are mostly playing, dancing, singing and other similar ones.
In Indonesia, kindergartens are able to read and do some basic math.
However, their social skill are less developed than those in Australia.

2. Elementary school

At the elementary school, the Australian system is considered more relax than Indonesia's. An Indonesian eight year old kid cramming in the room to study math, natural science such as geography, and social science like history and religion.
In contrast, Australia a counterpart is playing sport or music. When Australian system develops almost all nine type of human intelligences, the logical-mathematical intelligence is the main focus for Indonesian kids.
Indonesian kids are trained to memorize some scientific fact and figures in their textbooks, meaning less time for playing.

3. Secondary system

The similar differences can also able to observed at the secondary level. The high school students in Indonesia often study physics and math.
one also could argue that the Australian education lacks of discipline. However, when comparing at the higher education level in both countries, the Indonesian standard is significantly falling behind the Australia's, perhaps due to lack of funding and resources.

In general, the Indonesian system is mainly focusing on a few type of intelligence such as logical whereas the diversity is a lot better in Australia.
In addition, the Indonesian system is still mostly based on teacher style, the systems that has been abandoned in most of developed countries that prefer Socratic style of teaching.

which one is better? Depends on what you want. To be a scientist engineer, perhaps Indonesian system is good. However, Australian system is capable in developing all nine type of intelligence which allow more development opportunity for most children.

Thank you and see you! ❤❤

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus?

Hi Ladies! ♡♡

A few days ago, I decided to read a book entitled "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus" as my task from my lecture.

After read this book, I highly recommend you for read this book too (especially for a couples) because you know what? This book are contains so many explanations about the differences between a men and women in term of love that can help you to become more tolerant, accepting, and understanding with your partner in relationship ❤

There are so many chapters in this book, and in this blog I will just share a bit of what I've read in this book, particularly in chapter 5.

In this chapter, you will discover about how are the differences between a men and women in speaking different language.

Do you know that men and women are human from different planet? And do you know what does the planets name? It is Mars and Venus. these different planets are caused why men and women have their own language. Thus, this is the reason why there are so many misunderstanding and misinterpreted happened in many couples around the world. 💔

For the example is in the case of expressing their feeling vs expressing information 📣

Example case:
One day there was a couple driving a car. They had a plan to spent they holliday by went to the museum.
When in the middle of the trip, the girl saw an ice cream seller, and she said, "Look! It's an ice cream!"
Then the car driver a.k.a the girl's boyfriend said, "yes it is."
The girl was very upset, and after arrived at the museum, she said, "Why don't you just buy me the ice cream I told you before? I really want to eat that ice cream! You make me very upset!"
The boy said, "But honey, you didn't ask me to buy it before?."

At that conversation I can conclude that to fully express their feelings, women assume used various superlatives, metaphors, and generalizations. Women usually expressing their feeling by giving some code to their partner.

In that case actually the girl wants her boyfriend buy an ice cream for her, but she was upset because her boyfriend misinterpreted and give the response that she never expected before.

In addition, I can conclude also, if men mistakenly take these expressions literally, Because they misunderstand the intended meaning, they commonly react in an unsupportive manner.

Here are  a few other easily misinterpreted are listed, as well as how a man might respond unsupportively according to the Men are from Mars and women are from  Venus' book.

1. Women say things like this: “No one listens to me anymore.”
Men respond like this: “But I am listening to you right now.”

2. Women say things like this: “Nothing is working.”
Men respond like this: “Are you saying it is my fault?”

3. Women say things like this: “You don’t love me anymore.”
Men respond like this: “Of course I do. That’s why I’m here.”

By the way, now you can see how a “literal” translation of a woman’s words could easily mislead a man who is used to using speech as a means of conveying only facts and information.

We can also see how a man’s responses might lead to an argument. Unclear and unloving communication is the biggest problem in relationships.

The number one complaint women have in relationships is: “I don’t feel heard."
Even this complaint is misunderstood and misinterpreted.

As a couple,  you have to remember this one!
‎” when men and women are able to respect and accept their differences then love has a chance to blossom ” so In syaa Allah you will have happy relationship forever after hehehe

Thank you so much for read my blog, and I hope you will get many lessons from here, and I hope you able to try to understand and appreciate your partner always ❤

See you bye bye! 😘😘

Balinese children are usually named according to caste system, gender and birth order.
Caste systems

Balinese believe if that caste systems can indicated their privilege in the society. There are four caste systems which Balinese know for named their children.
  1. Brahman: The descendent of Brahman caste usually begin with the title of Ida Bagus for men and Ida Ayu for women.

Birth order

Balinese use the naming procedure that characterizes the birth order of children.
  1. First born baby : Usually named Wayan mean older, putu or Gede. (Most common are Wayan and putu). Example: I wayan agung.
  2. Second born baby: generally used Made/Kadek/Nengah. Kadek means middle. Example: Ni kadek Ayu.

All of the names above can be for either boys or girls.

The Balinese know the tradition of giving names to characterize gender, namely the prefix "I" for boys ' names, and prefix "Ni" for girls' names.

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

Hi guys! ♡♡♡
How do you do? :D
Welcome to my first blog hehehe please enjoy and happy reading!♡♡

"You know my name, not my story".
Do you know what is that quote??? Or have you ever seen that quote?
I believe that you know it, because it was one of the most popular quote in this world which contain so many reflection of life. ^_^
I totally agree with this quote if in this life, most of many people just know our name, not our story. They just have heard what we've done, not what we've been through, so they can easy judge people without know well who is he/she. >_<

For some people, name is become the most important thing in their life because they will be feel more confident if they have a beautiful name. They felt shy if have unusual name, because their friends will laugh at their name. So please I beg you starting this day, stop tease unusual people name, because you don't know what is their story, and how she/he has that names.

To avoid that moment there are so many people who just use their nickname, for the example= JOE for BEJO and many more. :D
By the way, my name is Euis Rahmawati, and I would like to share a bit of my story about how I can got that "unique" name and what is that name's mean which probably heared strange for many foreigns. Lol :D

Actually my name don't have any special meaning T_T, because I was born in west java then my parents want I have sundanese name, then finally my father gave me name Euis Rahmawati.
How my father can thought that name was because EUIS was my father ex girlfriend's name:"( hmm...
In other case, because I was born in 1999 then he used Rahmawati as my last name. He said if RAHMAWATI is very famous name at that time.

The percentage of Rahmawati's popularity
For the first time, to be honest actually I dislike this name because I think it's too hurt for my mom if hers daughter's name same with hers husband ex girlfriend and when I was a child there are some people who always laugh at my name, they called me Uis, ewis or Quis :'( But, after my father explain to me more specific reasons why he gave me that name was because his ex girlfriend was a very clever girl ever he met. My father was uneducated man, then he hopes I can be a clever girl like his ex girlfriend.

In addition about my last name he said if it was from indonesian language, and it has wonderful meaning,  Abundance of grace (limpahan Rahmat Tuhan). <3 After heared that story now I felt greatful so much for this name now, because I realized if there are so many Du'a or hope (do'a) from my parents especially my father to me, they want I become a success woman in the future and live happily forever after. Well, If you ask me am I still loathed that name, so the answer is NO! Because I love and proud of my name. ^_^ Although you give one billion dollars for me to change my name, with all due respect I prefer to rejected your money rather than change my name heheheee

Moreover if I had a kids wkwk I would like to give them named siti Nurjannah for my daughter's name and Milky way Akbar  Ahmad for my son's name. Lol hehe The reason why I choose Siti Nurjannah for my lovely and pretty daughter are  because it is a simple and usual name in Indonesia, and I hope my daughter can became heaven's light for my husband and I in dunya and akhirah. ^_^ hihihi...
Then about my son's name reasons are because I hope my son could be a strong man as Bima Sakti in Mahabharata story. Akbar is Arabic language, and it's mean the greatest , I wish he could be a great leader in the future,  and there is no special reason why I used Ahmad as my son's last name exactly, I use that name is just for his identity as a Muslim boy. Hehehe (I'm not racist LOL)

Anyway guys, do you have any favourite name in English language? If you could change your name by that name, what's name do you prefer to use as your name? please tell me by comment on this page and tell me the reasons also hehehe
If I could so I like to change my named Grace because I hope I can get God's mercy always. :)
